Commissioned Birthday
This was commissioned for a Man City football supporter who loves cider, would never had guessed would you?!
The base card is basic black. I used whisper white to print the background footballs on. The stamp set Just Soccer for the football boots and football. The other elements all had to be computer generated. Unfortunately, when I took this picture I did not have the name of the person for whom it was requested, that is why the centre top is blank. I will finish once I have the info.

Baby Boy
I have made this card for my great niece who has recently had a little boy. It is a decoupage image that I had completed in the days before Stampin' Up!. Decoupage is not favourite way of crafting but I had the image and it was an ideal opportunity to use it. The night of navy, bashful blue and whisper white card stock is SU as is the designer paper.
My crafting mojo at present is on the back burner, so really sorry if you are visiting, not much is happening at present. Hope to back in full swing in the new year.

My Girl and her Boys
Going to do the proud Mum and Grandma bit now. This is picture that I was sent from my daughter in Australia. I think it is a lovely picture and wanted to show them off. You can see how the younger one likes to dress up, the middle one was just like that. They are lovely boys and I miss them very much. It seems to have been such a long time since I saw them.

Grandson's Birthday
It is my Grandson's 9th Birthday at the beginning of January so I needed to finish this card and get in the post to Australia. One year, because of the build up to Christmas, I forgot to send the card early enough to arrive in time for his birthday. I felt so bad and made a promise to myself that this would not happen again. Now I have to make sure it goes in the post as soon as possible. I have blurred out the name, it is just for security reasons.
I used basic gray cardstock with the Nouveau Chic design papers. I thought it gave a brilliant background effect for the style of the card. I used Versamark ink together with the heat and stick powder and black glitter from the Galaxy set of glitters on the chipboard number.

Commissioned
The remit for this card was either something 1920's or a Cocker Spaniel with a santa hat. Therefore, the image is computer generated. I used the Christmas Jingle Simply Srapping kit with some gold elastic cord. The sentiment came from the Best Yet (now retired) stamp set.

First Christmas Tree
We spent the evening on Wednesday bringing all the Christmas decorations out of the loft (and what a lot there was). We decided that we needed to downsize the collection so it all had to be sorted and found new homes.
That left quite a mess, so today I have been sorting and put the first tree up in the conservatory. I like to use single colours on my trees so this one is a white tree with red baubles and lights. It has taken me nearly all day to play with this. The roof of the conservatory has wooden rafters so I have hung silver baubles all the way down each rafter. I now have a sore thumb from drawing pins and sore legs from going up and down a ladder. Tomorrow, once the Sky man has been, I will do the tree in the lounge. That will be more traditional, the tree is green and the baubles etc are gold. I will post a picture once I have finished.
The picture does not really do it justice, the red lights are not showing, love the boots, I keep thinking it is going to start walking at any time.

Recessed Window
These are a couple of cards I put together quickly as I was cutting and preparing for my class this Saturday. We are stamping on a candle and making a 5" x 5" recessed window card, so I thought I would make a couple 7" x 5" card to show that it does not just have to be a square card.
The first card is made using Cameo Coral DSP, elegant eggplate and whisper white card stock. I also used the eyelet border punch. I stamped the image (from True Friend) in elegant eggplant and then again, over the top, slight off with cameo coral. The ribbon is the white satin ribbon that was new in the catalogue.
Basically using the same technique as above but the elegant eggplant card stock was replaced by night of navy.
The flowers were made using the five star petal, scallop circle and bo ho blossoms punches.

Craft Fair
For anyone who visit me regularly, sorry but I have been a bit manic at present. If you remember I said, a while ago that I was going to do a craft fair at our local pub. Well, this is part of my stall. Unfortunatley not as many people came who promised, but hey, that's life. Everybody is busy at this time of year. I had a good day and the other stalls that where there were also good.

Fancy Another Slice
I made another cake, this time a blue-berry? cake. Firstly I used a different method of flowers to decorate the top but it did not seem to give the same effect so I reverted back to the original method. This time I used whisper white, night of navy and bashful blue card stock and bashful blue designer series papers. The smaller flowers are made from the bo ho blossoms and the larger flowers are with the scalloped circle punch..
I said yesterday that I would make one more using very vanilla and chocolate chip, hoping it would look like a chocolate gateau. Well, here it is. I have added it this post so it is all in one place. Think I will now leave cake making to the bakers.
